How we started

The first rule of thermoregulation states that “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only altered in form” That means that while it may have changed forms time and time again, all of the energy that was here when the universe started is still here. Now let us think about what that means for crystals. Crystals (or gemstones) are created after being subjected to millions of years of pressure and heat. This means that it takes an incredible amount of energy to form just one crystal. But what is energy? Well basically it’s the ability to do work. Therefore, if it takes a gemstone so much time and energy to be created, how can anyone think they’re nothing more than a pretty jewelry or mantle piece!?!? There are cultures all around the world that have recognized and utilized the energy contained within these ageless timepieces for quite some time now. 

Now I know what you’re thinking. “But Ciarra, why does any of this matter?” Well, because of what we can do with them, or more accurately what they can help us do. Gemstones are a tool, when used in the right manner they can help us focus our energy on a specific goal with the intention of manifestation. Now don’t get me wrong, they aren’t magic and I’m not recommending you swing a wand around to get your way, but what I am going to recommend you do, is learn to utilize the energy held in these stones as a conduit to focus your own energy wherever it is you want it to go. And I have good news! You don’t need to get rid of your jewelry or home décor pieces, in fact I encourage you to continue using them in this manner . . .just be more mindful about it.
